Power Boxx is powered up with the release of their debut CD. We are an independent 4-piece rock band from Toronto, Canada. Our CD, "Touch the Sky", is made up of 6 original songs which are all written and produced by Power Boxx. The disc was engineered by Fred Mauti at Samara Studios and was mastered by George Graves at The Lacquer Channel who has worked with such big name artists as Peter Gabriel, Rush, U2, Blue Rodeo, The Tragically Hip and many others. ********************************************* NEWS, UPDATES, and PERFORMANCES Saturday July 18, 2009:____________ TEA Summer Showcase Performance Power Boxx was selected once again to perform at the Toronto Experimental Artists (TEA) Showcase on SATURDAY JULY 18, 2009 at THE RIVOLI Cafe & Club 332 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 2A2 Tel. : 416-596-1908 Phil Naro will be singing for us again that night. In the past, Phil has spent the 1980's honing his skills and his sensibility in a series of solo and group albums. July 14, 2006:____________ TEA Volume 8 CD Showcase Performance Power Boxx was selected once again to be on the Toronto Experimental Artists (TEA) Volume 8 CD, and will be performing at the TEA Showcase on FRIDAY JULY 14, 2006 at THE RIVOLI Cafe & Club 332 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 2A2 Tel. : 416-596-1908 Check out the CD at http://www.teasouth.com/compilation.php#cd8 or by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. July 21, 2005:____________ TEA Volume 4 CD Showcase Performance Power Boxx was selected to be on the Toronto Experimental Artists (TEA) Volume 4 CD, and will be performing at the TEA Showcase on TUURSDAY JULY 21, 2005 at THE REVERB ROOM, 651 Queen Street West (Queen & Bathurst). Doors open at 7 pm. We go on at about 9pm. Admission is $10 thouogh us or $12 at the door. The CD was just released in 2005, and our song is OVERDRIVE on the CD Phil Naro will be singing for us again that night. July 22, 2004:____________ TEA Volume 2 CD Showcase Performance Power Boxx was selected to be on the Toronto Experimental Artists (TEA) Volume 2 CD, and will be performing at the TEA Showcase on TURSDAY JULY 22, 2004 at THE REVERB ROOM, 651 Queen Street West (Queen & Bathurst). July 2002:____________ Power Boxx is searching for a new vocalist to take the front man position. Unfortunately, Davey Wales must bow out of the band since he is no longer able to commit to the demands associated with being in a band seriously trying to make a career in the music business. The band is having a tough time in it's search. They say they need a singer who is really good, and at the same time must fit in with the band's philosophy and chemistry. Any singers out there?
